Let it flow
thru me like Time
flowing thru
the nameless country
from the bodyless soul
to my fingertips
from treetops
to my toes . . .


Music settles
Silence rises
It flows thru me ---
C minor
D flat
viola, piano
glissando
adante, allegro
Variations of blood
echoing plangent or
whisperings
. . . .


The clock melts
into longing
Time sings
with being
Polonaise to the tempo
of Night


This night
when the flame
is unmoving
my body forgets
its aching
my heart its weight
Is this what
they call depart
from the shadow of moon
and petals of love?
